Our ivy geranium
baskets are grown in the popular "
McCedar" basket that has the great look of wood but is made of durable polypropylene which is lightweight and retains water much better than the old fashioned cedar basket. It also holds more soil so you get a much larger root system. This translates into a more full and lush basket with less watering.
We use 4 strand wire hangers (they are stronger and you have more flexibility in hanging options). Our basket soil is a peat based soilless mix and are fertilized each watering with a water soluble fertilizer. We do not incorporate slow release fertilizer in our baskets.
How it Works:
Pre-order and reserve your ivy geranium basket.
Your basket will be grown in our Olympia Greenhouses until the date you select.
We'll contact you the week prior to your pickup date as a courtesy reminder.
Your basket will be available for your pickup at your location choice during published market/store hours.
*Products not picked up on the date specified will be assessed a charge of $5 per day up to a maximum of 10 days. Products not picked up within 10 days of scheduled pickup date will be forfeited and purchase price will not be refunded unless prior arrangements have been made.
